STAR Student Reception
The Student Teacher Achievement Recognition (STAR) program honors Georgia’s outstanding high school seniors and the teachers who have been most instrumental in their academic development. The Professional Association of Georgia Educators (PAGE) Foundation was selected by the Georgia Chamber of Commerce to coordinate the state STAR program in association with the Chamber and the Georgia Department of Education.
The Fitzgerald-Ben Hill County Chamber is privileged to continue the tradition of recognizing our community’s future leaders and honoring the professional educators who have nurtured these scholars. At the local, region and state levels, the PAGE STAR Program unites educators with the business and civic community to honor academic excellence.

Showcasing the Next Generation of Entrepreneurs
Join us for FLEXpo, a dynamic showcase celebrating the Top 10 student entrepreneurs from the Georgia FLEX program. These talented students will present their innovative business ideas, share their entrepreneurial journeys, and engage directly with the community.
This interactive event offers attendees the chance to meet the students behind the ventures, learn more about local youth entrepreneurship efforts, and even shop with the businesses on display. FLEXpo provides students with valuable real-world experience—networking with business leaders, refining their elevator pitches, and gaining confidence as young entrepreneurs—while connecting the community to the future of local innovation.

Stroll through downtown, explore festive shops, enjoy seasonal treats, and get a head start on your holiday shopping. It’s the perfect way to experience the magic of Christmas in our community and support local businesses.

Drive Thru Santa
in partnership with Community Bank
Celebrate the magic of the season at Drive-Thru Santa, a beloved holiday tradition hosted at Community Bank! Families are invited to bring the kids—pajamas encouraged—for a festive evening of Christmas cheer.
As you drive through, little ones can send their letters straight to Santa through the bank’s tube system and wave hello to the big man himself. Those on the nice list will receive special treats, and you might even spot a few surprise guests along the way! Enjoy holiday music, twinkling lights, and plenty of Christmas spirit—all from the comfort of your car.
